Vicente Blasco Ibañez Docteur Honoris Causa de la George Washington University (Etats-Unis)

Comme je vous l’avais promis, voici l’article « cadeau de Noël », relatif à l’attribution à Vicente Blasco Ibañez du titre de Docteur Honoris Causa de l’Université Georges Washington (Etats-Unis).

Vous trouverez en pièce jointe une copie du Journal de la George Washington University du 12 février 1920, qui annonce la cérémonie du 23 février où Vicente Blasco Ibañez a été honoré par nos Amis Américains de Washington.

Ce titre honorifique a fait l’objet d’une très belle cérémonie où étaient présentes de très nombreuses et importantes personnalités.

J’ai pris attache avec nos Amis de la GW University au nom du Cercle Blasco Ibañez, et c’est avec une grande gentillesse que les personnes en charge des Archives ont fait des recherches qui me permettent de mettre en ligne aujourd’hui des documents uniques :

• La photo de la cérémonie où Vicente Blasco Ibañez reçoit ce titre très important décerné au nom de son œuvre tout entière,

You can see below an article, as a “Christmas present”, about the attribution of the Doctor Honoris Causa distinction attributed to Vicente Blasco Ibanez at the GW University (USA).   

This distinction was the occasion of a huge ceremony where lots of important persons where present.

I had a direct contact with the GW University, and it is with kindness that one allowes us today to share these unique documents online:

•  1) A photo of the ceremony: Vicente Blasco Ibañez is receiving the distinction of Doctor Honoris Causa from the GW President regarding to his writings in general,
